December 18 & 19: Live To Two-Track Analogue

studer

Last July, the first Live To Two-Track recordings took place on the Rhapsody premises, with guests at the time being Atzko Kohashi, Denise Jannah and Sebastiaan Kaptein.

In December there will be another two concerts and this time at MCO Studio 2. There too, together with Frans de Rond (recording engineer), we will record a full analog live to two tracks. It promises to be a wonderful spectacle with none other than Joost Lijbaart, percussion and drums. Joost will perform for two days in a trio and duo formation.

Friday, Dec. 18, features the duo Wolfert Brederode (piano) and Joost Lijbaart (drums). Wolfert and Joost started their duo 10 years ago and have been playing together a lot since then. They are also active in the group BATIK and both play in saxophonist Yuri Honing's acoustic quartet. For those in the know, Wolfert Brederode is an ECM artist.

On Saturday, Dec. 19, the trio is Sanne Rambags (singer), Bram Stadhouders (guitarist) and Joost Lijbaart (drums). The young singer Sanne Rambags is at the center of this adventurous trio. Two big names who in this composition, together with the fragile voice of Sanne, form a beautiful trio in which openness and silence have an important place.

You can register by mailing to harry@rhapsody.nl. Places will be made available by lottery. All these wonderful recordings will be available in mid-2016 both on LP and high-resolution download and analog master tape.
