The digital world is getting bigger and bigger and therefore streaming is increasing. We are always working from our standards to improve the digital playback in every aspect by super switches, cables, etc. You ultimately want to offer the most perfect signal possible to the player. The streamer will then do the real work and that's where it usually goes wrong. Many products are designed by IT professionals who usually focus on ease of use. The input signal is then often "contaminated" which makes the set sound less.
We as analog freaks We are always looking for products and brands that are designed from "natural sound". We can indulge in brands such as NADAC,MSB, Nagra NAIM and Aurender.Now a truly Dutch product from the amazing design team at GRIMM joins them.
Our relationship with these men goes way back. Recently Guido from GRIMM sent us the MU 1 music player to listen to it. Immediately at the first tones it was clear, this MU1 is a top class product. We are delighted and proud that this is being developed in our country.

We wanted to develop the most accurate audio source we could imagine. In our experience, human hearing shows incredible sensitivity to audible aberrations. Indeed, in principle, digital audio does offer perfect reproduction. However, sound quality is limited by the accuracy of conversion from one format to another. Grimm Audio wants all the technical details to be as good as possible so that it does not interfere with the reproduction of the music.
With the MU1, our goal was to set a new benchmark in music player design. The Linux-based computer system ensures solid data integrity. The internally designed FPGA interface board, which is the heart of the MU1, provides groundbreaking levels of performance in format conversion (and receives automatic updates when we have pushed the limits again). Needless to say, the MU1 is equipped with our signature ultra-low jitter clock. This is a music player with which we do ourselves credit and will make many a music lover very happy.
