Sgt Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band

- the 50-year anniversary reissue of The Beatles' Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band

It was 50 years ago today...

Saturday, May 20, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Who doesn't know this album? As a 13-year-old boy, I bought this smashing album. It was one of the first records I spent a lot of money on. I still remember the amazement at how completely different this album was compared to the mainstream music on the radio at the time. After all these years, the album still works its way into me and I realize what a true masterpiece and milestone this album is. With, in my opinion, the most beautiful song The Beatles ever wrote 'A day in the life'. Not to mention that iconic cover.

And now 50 years after the fact, this utterly unique edition. Completely remixed by none other than George Martin's son: Giles Martin. He has been working on this for years with an amazing result. A lot of praise has already been written about this project in the various English magazines.

We are therefore super proud that Abbey Road is the first in the Netherlands to send us a sample pressing. So we can let you hear this version of the album before it is officially released. By the way, this edition will be for sale on the Internet in all kinds of variations (with various outtakes).

And....! We are going to put up a super high-end system to showcase this. We are going to make it a musical party again, so welcome and enjoy!
