Recently Magico upgraded its S5 and S1 products to MK2 versions. MK2 always seems to be an upgrade in the same design but the new S5 MK2 and S1 MK2 have nothing to do with the old versions. The cast, drivers, filters and appearance are different, so in our opinion they would have been better off giving these products a different number.
The sound of these 2 newcomers is crushingly much better than the old ones especially the S5 MK2. Here is a speaker with an authority of its bigger brothers but in a smaller enclosure. The S5 MK2 is already a favorite with us.
We will soon be doing shows with these two newcomers. So yes two new Amazing Products.
