Every design by the Swiss company CH Precision aims at the most direct signal path possible. As a concept this is easily conceived but to realize it you have to drop all conventional approaches. And start again and again with a blank drawing sheet without preconceived views. Then you make discoveries. It is precisely because of this approach that CH Precision's innovativeness and shrewdness is apparent and they manage to win over high-end connoisseurs.
I can tell you that as tube enthusiasts, we were skeptical at first, but eventually fell for this Swiss one solid state-products. Florian Cozzy the owner and designer should be proud, as his designs are acclaimed worldwide.
With the P1 Dual Monaural Phono Stage we were introduced to CH Precision. We connected these with the X1 External Power Supply... well ... it doesn't happen often ... but we fell completely silent for a moment. What a natural and exceptional tonal balance.
We wanted more and asked if they would set up their amps with us. It wasn't long before L1 Dual Monaural Line-Stage and the A1.5 Two-channel Power Amplifier stood with us. And again we almost rolled off our seats because of that wonderful sound with silken brilliance. The mastery of the spectrum creating a superior 3D soundstage with clear instrument placement. You get the picture, we couldn't help ourselves and are now the exclusive dealer for the Netherlands. Finally, in addition to our top tube amplifiers from Trafomatic, Audio Research and Alieno, adding a true high-end transistor amplifier. YEAH!!
Of course, we'll put on a couple of shows right away. We're going to do both their 1-series and later this year the ultimate 10-series show. We are now giving two shows, the first of which is a vinyl special is. We then run exclusively analog. With the finest we know of in the turntable field: the Helix One from Döhmann. We play only vinyl albums and reissues from two glorious jazz labels: Blue Note and Impulse!. Especially recordings from the 50s and 60s get special attention. So a must for any jazz lover. Marten Coltrane 3 speakers
As speakers, we are going to have one of the top models from Marten connecting. The Coltrane a classic since 2003 but we are now playing with their updated Model 3 Statement Edition.
A true musical delight with stunning engineering. The cabinet consists entirely of carbon fiber and all drivers its custom made for Marten. That will be feasting and, of course, with John Coltrane on the turntables.
