THE BIRTH

Birth Of The Cool is an iconic album. It was Gil Evans and Miles Davis' answer to bebop with innovative orchestration and arrangements with unusual harmonic and tonal sound colors. This album proved to be a milestone for the development of modern jazz.

Our motive is always to express the qualities of an album in all its nuances and thus to maximize the importance of certain albums. And this time we are putting out a great set of firsts for that. 

We begin with the MARTEN Mingus Orchestra speaker. A widely recognized absolute best in the high-end world. 
We connect them to the best in terms of strengthening the CH-Precision 10 series. We and all the world's top reviewers are in full agreement. The digital and analog source also come from CH-Precision. 
As a streamer the most impressive thing Aurender ever built the N30 With separate power supply.
As a turntable the unforgiving Döhmann with all the trimmings.
And as a big scoop the Metaxas Tourbillon T-RX tape recorder. According to Jonathan Valin by far the best front end he ever heard. And we're going to let you hear that. A unique set!

THE COOL

Our second room features our Rob with a smaller version of the large set above. With perhaps the finest monitor speaker we know of: the Marten Parker Duo Diamond. 
Enhanced with the special Audio Analoque Absolute a 50 watt class A amplifier. It's big and warm, and that's what it sounds like. As an analog source, we put the THRAX Yatrus direct drive turntable down. And as a digital source the Aurender A20 streamer DAC.
